Poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA) is the dominant acrylic that widely used to produce partial and complete dentures. Denture fractures are caused by fatigue owing repetitive masticatory, flexural impact loads produced dropping. The mechanical properties of dentures have been developed reinforcing with various agents like rubbers, fillers fibers. Progressively, novel dental materials reinforcement tactics following advancement in Nano dentistry. Nonetheless, issue pertaining superior PMMA still exists albeit it’s biocompatible aesthetic properties. In recent years, nanostructure received much attention due their high surface area volume ratio boosts interaction delivers new biological, physical, chemical characteristics. Many studies evaluated usage nanotubes nanofiber composites, however, data estimating nanofibers scarce. This article aimed review progress related development denture base addition latest advances prospective developments for resins reinforcement. strengthening dentures, Nano-fillers treatment, biomedical additives improvement, PMMA, ceramic Nano-fillers, metallic as hybrid biocompatibility polymeric composite, biomaterial applications.
